A key ongoing role for the Commission is to continue to raise the public’s awareness of the impacts of inequalities of opportunity in education, to make the link between education and improved life chances. Part of our task is to ensure that the educational bodies genuinely embed the principles and practices of equality of opportunity into their core business and that they constantly strive towards greater equality.
